Murabba Lyrics

Verse 1

Soaked in the syrup of patience,

Time stands still held in a jar

Come and taste this jam

Let it find a place in your heart

FACT - This song talks about life. How life passes and how sometimes we take it for granted. We ought to treasure every moment and not regret anything. Everything happens when the time comes and for a reason.

In the movies context, the protagonist waits for days altogether just so that superstar Amitabh Bachchan tastes the Murabba ( jam) his mom made as it is his fathers dying wish of sorts. He faces a lot of obstacles in doing so. He has no money left after a few days, no place to stay but on the road. He starts losing patience but does not give up. So the song talks about this patience of the man who is waiting to receive that sweet fruit of patience even after he starts cursing this process of the long wait

It gets better with age

Every season that passes

Come and taste this jam
