Whats Up Lyrics

Verse 1

What’s Up is set against the backdrop of wedding celebrations. There is music in the air, the beats echo the sound of celebrations, an auspicious moment. Happiness is sparkling all around and it feels like a miracle.

It’s a massive wedding. Close to 900 shoes are scattered everywhere. Everyone is in a horrible state, their feet hurt, after dancing so much. Yet, nobody is ready to stop. There’s no question of stopping now.

Verse 2

Nobody is allowed to sleep or do unnecessary drama. It’s a happy occasion. No one is allowed to receive or make phone calls. All they have to do is embrace this moment and dance.

When Mika asks the crowd “What’s Up?”, all everyone wants to do is get into trouble and dance. Bottoms up, they drink alcohol and completely empty their glasses.  Waists swinging, dancing the night away.

Verse 3

Flowers have blossomed all around to the sounds of hands clapping. The kohl of the bride’s eyes look at the street, as she waits for the groom to arrive.

Girls laugh as they dress up, they look extremely gorgeous. They should stay that happy as they are and everyone hopes that no one cast’s an envious eye on them, since they look so good today.

Verse 6

All the drunken guests are playfully being encouraged to have fun, drink even more and have a blast. Ironically, even sobriety is spinning around in circles.
