Kyun Re Lyrics

Verse 1

Kyun Re describes the painful feeling of losing a loved one. Sung by Amitabh Bachchan. In the movie, the protagonist, John Biswas loses his granddaughter under mysterious circumstances.

He remembers her smile and compares it to the Jal Tarang (pic below) -  a melodic percussion instrument, consisting of clay or metal bowls filled with water. Her smile still echoes around him. She left her fragrance (impact) behind long after she left.

Verse 2

He remembers the corner in the house that they lived in. Her bed now lies empty. Even in her absence, he feels her presence in the house.

He helplessly asks her why she left him all alone, in such a condition? The moments that once were as delicate as glass, only shattered pieces of them remain behind now.

WORD- Maujudgi – Existence.
