On Oh Ho Ho Ho (Ishq Tera Tadpave) Sukhbir is lamenting about his grief, singing about a girl, whom he can’t forget.
He stays up all night in her memory and counts the stars while dreaming about her. His tears are unstoppable (like the rains) and his sadness doesn’t seem to end.
“Ishq Tera Tadpave” means - Your love is torturous and tormenting.
FACT- In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sukhbhir spoke about the popularity of this song which originally released in the 90’s- “Because of that one song, I think people even forgot my name. They simply remember me as the guy who sang “Oh ho ho ho”
Sukhbir feels lonely without this girl. This period of separation stings him like a poisonous snake and it seems unbearable.
He finds it difficult to forget her charming personality and the sweet conversations they had. Every moment, he is reminded of her and the tears that flow down his eyes are now unstoppable. He can’t get a hold of himself.
Ikka raps about a woman whose love is equally tormenting. Always lost in her dreams and thoughts, he can’t get any sleep now, because her memories haunt him. They make him cry bitterly.
Ikka has taken to drinking a bottle of alcohol everyday, in an attempt to forget her and get rid of her memories. Simple tasks like eating and sleeping now seem difficult. He doesn’t know what living happily feels like.
Despite all his efforts, he always ends up crying and now that she is not with him, he has gone crazy and keeps talking to her photos. Ikka only has sad songs on his playlist now.
Sukhbir further questions this woman- despite all the sacrifices he made, how could she forget him and not understand his feelings?
Such were his sacrifices that he bared the scorching heat only to keep her in shade and away from all troubles. He would even burn his heart just to bring some light in her life. Suggesting that he made numerous sacrifices to ensure that she was content.
