On Taare, Guru Randhawa is saddened by a woman’s betrayal. He says that the excuses that she gives him are countless like the countless stars in the sky. They are never ending and he wonders why?
WORD- Laare- Excuses, Ambra- Sky, Taare- Stars, Mukde na – Never ending.
Guru’s eyes are always moist because he always has tears in his eyes, ever since she left him. He finds it difficult to get over her. Those tears are like a parting gift from her to him. And her excuses are endless like the stars up above.
WORD- Hanju- Tears, Akhiyan- Eyes, Sukhde na- Do not dry.
The pain he endures will last for life. Guru believes he won’t be able to get over it. He is dismayed and doesn’t know what to do with his life now.
Guru questions this woman- Wasn’t she ashamed? didn’t she feel any guilt when she cheated on him. He further asks her in despair, if she had to leave him then why did she entice him to fall in love with her in the first place?
Guru feels robbed. He thinks people don’t even treat their enemies, the way she treated him. Suggesting that even one’s enemies don’t rob you the way, this girl has robbed him. She robbed him of his peace of mind.
He reckons no one will ever love her the way he did. Guru is sure that no one else can fall in love with her to such an extent.
If she does find someone who loves her more than he does, then the flower of love will never wither away.
